*Our Office will be operating in person and remotely Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5pm*

-Via email  hsugrad@humboldt.edu.  In your email, please include your name, the best number and time to reach you, and your Humboldt ID number, if applicable. Please include a description of the service you need or your question. Your message will be reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate staff member for a reply. We will respond to messages as soon as possible. Messages are reviewed during our normal business hours.

Call (707) 826-5194; if we do not answer, you can leave a message for the Graduate Studies team. Please include your first and last name, the best number and time to reach you, and your Humboldt ID number, if applicable. Leaving a message will notify our staff, who will return your call within the hour (or at a time you’ve specified).

Questions about Grad Applications?

 For the quickest response on late applications or graduate admission decisions, please email our team at graduate-applicants@humboldt.edu. Students can also use this email to reach us. 

 

As a reminder, the application cycle for spring 2025 opens on August 1, 2024. The only graduate programs open for regular admission in the spring cycle are Applied English, Kinesiology, Natural Resources, Geology, and Social Work (MSW Distributed Learning only in spring). 

 

Announcements

Fall 2024 Thesis Submission

Please keep in mind the Courtesy Format Review deadline December 2nd, 2024, and the Final Submission deadline December 16th, 2024. Make sure that you have applied to Advancement to Candidacy and Graduation. You are required to attend a training session or take the online thesis training course through Canvas to save hours of correcting format errors.
