The Office of Graduate Studies will be monitoring incoming emails at hsugrad@humboldt.edu.
Please call (707) 826-5194 for phone assistance and leave a message.
Please communicate with us:
-Via email: In your email, please include your name, the best number and time to reach you, and your Humboldt ID number, if applicable. Please include a description of the service you need or your question. Your message will be reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate staff member for a reply. We will respond to messages as soon as possible. Messages are reviewed during our normal business hours.
-Via phone: If we do not answer, you can leave a message for the Graduate Studies team. Please include your first and last name, the best number and time to reach you, and your Humboldt ID number, if applicable. Leaving a message will notify our staff, who will return your call within the hour (or at a time you’ve specified).
-Via Zoom video conferencing. Please email us to schedule a Zoom appointment. We are available to schedule Zoom appointments during operating hours.

2025 CSU Grad Slam Competition is Cancelled!
We wish to inform you that the 2025 CPH Grad Slam event, initially slated for April 10th, has been canceled. Moving forward, we would like to acknowledge the tremendous hard work of our graduate students and reaffirm our commitment to celebrating their achievements. We are already discussing next year’s event, with the goal of creating a more vibrant and inclusive celebration that showcases the talent and enthusiasm of all participants.
Spring 2025 Thesis Submission
Please keep in mind the Courtesy Format Review deadline April 28th, 2025, and the Final Submission deadline May 12th, 2025. Make sure that you have applied to Advancement to Candidacy and Graduation. You are required to attend a training session or take the online thesis training course through Canvas to save hours of correcting format errors.
