-Via email  In your email, please include your name, the best number and time to reach you, and your Humboldt ID number if applicable. Please include a description of the service you need or your question. Your message will be reviewed and forwarded to the appropriate staff member for a reply. We will respond to messages as soon as possible. Messages are reviewed during our normal business hours.

-Call (707) 826-5194 you can leave the Graduate Studies team a message if we do not answer. Please include your first and last name, the best number and time to reach you, and your Humboldt ID number if applicable. Leaving a message will notify our staff, who will return your call within the hour (or at a time you’ve specified).

Grad Slam Competition

Get ready for the 4th Annual Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam Competition! being held on March 22nd from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. The Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam celebrates the exciting research being conducted by graduate students. If you are interested in applying to participate in the Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam Competition stop by our Grad Slam Office Hours Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00 PM-2:00 PM in Siemens Hall 217A. The application for the 2024 Grad Slam Competition is now Open! For inspiration check out last year's Cal Poly Humboldt Grad Slam Winners!

Spring 2024 Thesis Submission

Please keep in mind the Courtesy Format Review deadline April 22nd, 2024, and the Final Submission deadline May 6th, 2024. Make sure that you have applied to Advancement to Candidacy and Graduation. You are required to attend a training session or take the online thesis training course through Canvas to save hours of correcting format errors.

Graduate Studies Open House

The Graduate Studies Task Force is inviting all grad students to provide input on the current status and future vision for Graduate Education at Cal Poly Humboldt. Please join us for this opportunity to share your thoughts about the strengths and weaknesses of our current grad programs, as well as provide guidance on changes you would like to see.
What: Stop by our grad studies "open house"  to discuss your ideas over lunch (food is free & provided!) 
When: Thursday, February 15th, anytime between 12:00 - 2:00pm  *you do not need to stay the whole time
Where: SAC 131 (conference room on the north side of the depot, towards the dorms)

Fulbright Scholarship

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs.  A candidate will submit a Statement of Grant Purpose defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S.
